We first tasted this whiskey while still a spirit at only 2.5 years old and were blown away by its flavor and texture. Almost two years we’re ready to bottle this beauty up. It’s a whiskey of firsts – the first Stories & Sips Whiskey Club whiskey distilled in Cork, the first single cask release of Clonakilty’s own-distilled single pot still and the first Clonakilty whiskey matured entirely in a new, unused, American oak cask.
The whiskey has now been emptied from the cask, as you can see in the video below and awaits bottling in the next week.
