The First Tasting of Blue Spot: Lock-in Livestream

This Friday night on the Lock-in is another great night of Irish whiskey stories and sips.

This is the fourth installment of our Lock-ins to come live from Ireland and there’s a good warm fire blazing again this week (thanks, Netflix).

Every week we open three different bottles of whiskey and this week is an extra special one as we  crack open the brand new and much anticipated Blue Spot Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey, together with its siblings Yellow Spot and Red Spot.

To discuss this incredible new whiskey and the Spot range of whiskeys, we’re joined by Ger Garland, Midleton Whiskey Ambassador and Manager of the Brand Engagement and Advocacy Team, and Shamim De Brún, Drinks Industry Writer, wine and whiskey enthusiast and member of the Mitchell & Son team in Dublin.

We chat and sample all things Spot related and have our questions answered about the three fortified wine “M”s that contribute to these three unique whiskeys – Madeira, Malaga and Marsala.
