Celebrating the Irish Whiskey Community

In this episode of Stories & Sips, we’re coming from the Jameson Distillery in Midleton, and I’m once again joined by Irish whiskey blogger extraordinaire, Omar Fitzell, better knows as That’s Dram Good, to talk about and celebrate the Irish whiskey community.

Since starting this channel, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting some of the nicest people I’ve ever met, all sharing a common love for Irish whiskey, the people who make it and the community that has formed around it.

To me, whiskey isn’t a drink, it’s an excuse to bring people together, to chat, to laugh, to cry, to connect. I’ve often said that if my supply of whiskey was cut off and I could no longer taste its goodness, but I was able to keep the friends I made through it, I don’t think I’d be one bit sad.
