Irish Whiskey App, Thomond Gate Whiskey, Dunville’s, Knappogue Castle and more: Lock-in Livestream
Clear your plans, have a good meal in advance and get your whiskeys ready because The Lock-in is back!
We were very excited for our guests this week – two of our fellow group members and champions of Irish whiskey joined for the craic and chat.
Nick Ryan, founder of Thomond Gate Irish Whiskey sent us some blind samples of his new whiskeys (yet to be released in the US), he came to share his vision for bringing whiskey back to his native Limerick and shared the steps he’s taking to do that.
Conor Winders, Irish whiskey fan extraordinaire and creator of the newest digital addition to the world of Irish whiskey, The Irish Whiskey App, joined us to share his app and show us how to use it to find new whiskeys, build a collection, leave and read reviews and find info on whiskeys, brands and distilleries.
We also popped open a range of whiskeys that cover every price point and style!
— Echlinville Distillery’s newest release – Dunville’s 1808 – a very affordable blend of all three styles of Irish whiskey.
— The stalwart of every Irish whiskey fan’s shelf – Powers John’s Lane 12 year old Single Pot Still.
— And the staggeringly good Knappogue Castle Irish Whiskey 21 year old Single Malt.
It was quite a session, and we hope you enjoy the replay!

The Lock-in Livestream is a great chance to raise a glass to our health, one another and another week under our belt.
Irish whiskey brings people together. Each Friday 1000s of Irish whiskey fans come together in one place – the Lock-in Livestream. Mark your calendar for this weekly celebration of all things Irish whiskey.
