Killarney Brewing & Distilling

Killarney Distilling Company is ideally situated at the gateway to the world-famous Ring of Kerry. The owners of the company are embarking on an exciting new venture in the production of Single Malt and Single Pot Still Irish Whiskeys following on from their successful legacy of brewing in the county with Killarney Brewing.

The modern design of the facility exemplifies the new age of distilling in Ireland, the three traditional copper pot stills paying homage to the classic method of Irish Whiskey distillation and to those who developed the craft.

The striking design of the new craft distillery, craft brewery, and visitor center, combined with the panoramic views of the McGillycuddy Reeks and the Gap of Dunloe, makes the facility an unrivaled destination.

Killarney Distilling Company whiskeys (currently sourced elsewhere while the distillery itself comes online) are crafted with fresh, naturally filtered spring water from the mountains of County Kerry. Pure natural water originates atop Mangerton Mountain – home of the legendary Devil’s Punch Bowl. This spring water flows over thousands of feet of Killarney mountain rock, before emptying into the glacial lake, Lough Guitane. The brands are inspired by Irish lore and legends, in particular the stories surrounding Muckross Abbey, Lough Lein (lake of learning), and Innisfallen Island.
