This rare release from The Liberator series is a double-distilled single malt Irish whiskey that spent 9 patient years maturing, its final chapter unfolding in a single, 110-litre Ruby Port cask. That small cask size means more intense interaction between the whiskey and the wood, resulting in a deep, concentrated bold finish.

On the nose, expect a burst of rich red fruits - ripe cherries, plums, and raspberry compote woven through with dark chocolate and a gentle nuttiness. The palate is luxuriously full, delivering layers of stewed fruits, spiced oak, and hints of marzipan, all wrapped in a velvety texture that lingers. The port influence brings a warming sweetness and a delicate tannic grip, perfectly complementing the robust malt core.

Just 110 litres in total yield from the finishing cask makes this a truly limited expression and a beautiful showcase of The Liberator’s commitment to craft, heritage, and innovation.
