The Irish in Southern California: Lock-in Livestream

This Lock-in is a celebration of the Irish in Southern California. We all know that the Irish make their mark wherever they go and this week I was joined by 4 Irish guests all making their mark in the worlds of Irish whiskey, pubs and music in sun soaked California.

Donna Stewart is Brand Ambassador for Tullamore D.E.W in Southern California who made a long overdue return visit to the Lock-in to chat whiskey with us.

Hannah Crowley is a singer/songwriter from Dublin, currently based in Los Angeles. From studying classical and jazz music, she now melds the sounds of yesterday and today to make a timeless mix of pop music that lives long on the memory.

Christy Caldwell is the Donegal man behind The Ordinarie, an American Restaurant and Bar in Long Beach, California who came to talk about running a restaurant in the middle of a pandemic and shared some stories of his time in the US.

Another Donegal man Kevin Kearns is the man behind The Auld Fella, an Irish bar and restaurant in Culver City, California with a fantastic Irish whiskey selection.

Of course we had the craic talking whiskey, music, pubs, pandemics and the life of an Irish person in California.
