Shortcross Whiskey/Rademon Estate Distillery: Our Next Club Whiskey

We couldn’t be more excited about the journey we’re about to go on with our first Stories & Sips Whiskey Club collaboration of 2023 with an historic release from Shortcross Whiskey and Rademon Estate Distillery.
Launching on February 10th at 3pm EST/8pm Irish time, this special whiskey will be available to members of the Stories & Sips Whiskey Club all over the world on a first come, first serve basis. Rademon Estate Distillery founders Fiona and David Boyd-Armstrong submitted this previously unreleased whiskey for judging at the 2022 Irish Whiskey Awards where it was awarded Gold as the Best Peated Irish Single Malt Whiskey, 11 Years and Under.

Fermentation: 170 hours
Distillation: Double distilled
Maturation: Ex-Cognac & Orange Liqueur European Oak Cask
Age: 6 yrs, 10 months
Bottled at: 66% ABV/132 Proof

A Whiskey of Firsts
- This is the first Stories & Sips Club Whiskey partnership directly with a distillery
- It’s our first peated Club whiskey
- This whiskey is the first peated whiskey released by Rademon Estate Distillery
- It’s the first peated Single Malt Irish whiskey distilled, matured and released from Northern Ireland in more than 75 years
Why This Whiskey?
On our August 2022 Whiskey Bus Tour of Ireland where we visited 9 distilleries, 16 pubs and sampled 63 whiskeys, this was determined to be the highlight for many on or tour. So impressed were we by the whiskey that we asked if we could release it to our Club members. We’re very grateful that Fiona and David trusted us with their first ever peated whiskey.
How do you get your hands on a bottle?
