Irish Whiskey, Comedians, History & Craic: Lock-in Livestream
This week we were joined by comedians Jason Brennan and Kevin Larner, hosts of the insanely funny Shite Talk History podcast, where they take a light-hearted approach each week to key and bizarre moments in Irish history.
On this week’s Lock-in we took a dive into bizarre Irish whiskey-related stories from history and examined the unusual and sometimes hilarious tales of the people and the places connected to Irish whiskey.
Some of these connections may be tenuous at best, but it was a bit of craic regardless!
I opened three different whiskeys to sip on:
– The Busker Blended Irish Whiskey
– The Sexton Single Malt Irish Whiskey
– The Legendary Silkie Blended Irish Whiskey
The two lads turned up with a few different bottles of something Irish as well.
This is the first “swapcast” we’ve ever done where we crudely smashed two different podcasts/livestreams and their hosts together in the hopes of creating something even better and more enjoyable than the sum of its parts.
